2008
FIRST ever
the first THERMOSIPHON-Electric geyser conversion
The first successful project was to retrofit an electrical geyser to operate as a solar geyser. To take it one step further we managed to do this without using a water pump, thus effectively developing the first (world wide) conversion of an electric geyser into a thermosiphon solar geyser.
2014
first ever
the first photo-voltaic-electric geyser conversion
The first successful conversion of an electric geyser to a fully functional photo-voltaic-powered geyser.
2014
second ever
The island inverter
We developed our very own island inverter. We were nearly the first in the world to develop such an inverter. Therefore, many inverters have the "island inverter" function.
2016
first ever
single phase solar pump
Our team developed a solution to power a single-phase pump (primarily borehole pumps) to operate on solar power.
2019
Team effort
True Hybrid Inverter
In 2017 Jakes personally visited the Deye factory and sat with the R&D team on the development of the True Hybrid Inverter. The inverter was launched in 2019 and soon became the leading inverter, worldwide.
2019
improved technology
DC Pumps
In 2019 we launched our own range of DC pumps which outperforms the competition and is offered at a lower price. This took almost a year of research, development, and field testing. Our pumps are still the international benchmark for cost-effective performance.
